Animation Workshop: Migration

Get animated with this Stop-motion animation workshop! working in small groups and learning the techniques used in 'Shaun the Sheep’ and the ‘Lego Movie’ you will create your very own animated movie on the theme of ’Migration/Journeys'.

In your groups you will make models and props using modelling clay and then using cameras, laptops, backgrounds and lots of imagination you will bring your creations to life!

Your finished films will then be uploaded to our ‘YouTube’ Channel for your family and friends to watch!

Animation Nation is an Animation Workshop Company that has been getting the UK animated for over 10 years!

All of our workshops are completely hands on, and ensure all participants are engaged throughout.

Biography
Barry Skillin established Animation Nation in 2005 after completing a degree in Animation. His aim, to make the magic of stop-motion animation accessible to young people and since then he has delivered hundreds of animation workshops to schools, colleges and youth groups across the UK, which have engaged, educated and inspired thousands of young people in the art of animation. Many of the films produced in those animation workshops have been screened at various national and international film festivals and events and won several awards.

A one-off transaction fee of £3 for every purchase applies so if you buy 1 ticket for one performance or you buy 50 tickets for say 12 different performances in one go, its still only £3 flat rate.

If you book online you pay an additional booking fee of £1.80 per ticket.
Telephone bookings or tickets bought at the IF Box offices in Campbell Park, Middleton Hall or at the Stables do not incur the £1.80 online transaction fee.
